A privately funded research project through Mass General Hospital generating robust early insights into Avery’s genetic variant and evaluating the applicability of a variety of therapies/treatments.
The Eichler Lab, under the direction of Dr. Florian Eichler, MD, studies monogenic lipid metabolism disorders of the nervous system at Mass General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
Donations will be directed for sole use by The Avery Project at MGH, qualify for 501(c)3 status, and deployed towards enhanced genetic models, research personnel, and evaluation of genetic editing.
